Meeting with the Assistant Director-General of UNESCO for Natural Sciences

On December 8, 2022 in Paris on the sidelines of the UN-Water Summit on Groundwater, which is taking place in UNESCO Headquarters, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the National Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan for UNESCO Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Assistant Director-General of UNESCO for Natural Sciences Ms. Shamila Nair-Beduelle.

During the meeting, the topical issues of the global agenda on water and climate were touched upon.

Shamila Nair-Beduelle highly appreciated the role of Tajikistan as an initiator country on global water issues.

UNESCO Doğa Bilimleri Genel Direktör Yardımcısı ile görüşme

8 Aralık 2022’de Paris’te UNESCO Genel Merkezinde gerçekleşen BM-Yeraltı Suları Zirvesi’nin oturum aralarında Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti Dışişleri Bakanı, Tacikistan Cumhuriyeti UNESCO Ulusal Komisyonu Başkanı Sirojiddin Muhriddin, UNESCO Doğa Bilimleri Genel Müdür Yardımcısı Shamila Nair-Beduelle ile bir araya geldi.

Toplantıda, küresel gündemin su ve iklim konularına değinildi.

Shamila Nair-Beduelle, Tacikistan’ın küresel su meselelerinde öncü bir ülke olarak oynadığı rolü çok takdir etti.
