Message from Asaf Atasoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asfa Holding, on the Commemoration Day of Atatürk on November 10th.
Asaf Atasoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asfa Holding and a philanthropic businessman, issued a commemorative message on the 88th anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye.
Asaf Atasoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asfa Holding, included the following statements in his message;
We commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic and the architect of our independence, with gratitude once again on the 88th anniversary of his death.
Atatürk, who dedicated his life to his country and nation, despite the difficult conditions and limited resources the country faced, led the establishment of the independent and sovereign Republic of Turkey with the strength and support he received from his people.
Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was a great statesman who embodied many praiseworthy qualities. He was a leader who earned the love and respect not only of our nation but of all humanity.
We commemorate November 10th, the day marking the end of a 57-year life dedicated to the independence and future of the Turkish nation, not as a day of mourning, but as a day to understand the ideas, works, and sacrifices of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Indeed, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk emphasized the importance of understanding his feelings and ideas by saying, “Seeing me does not necessarily mean seeing my face. If you understand and feel my ideas and my feelings, that is enough.”
Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s greatest ideal was to elevate Türkiye, in unity and solidarity, to the level of modern civilizations as a prosperous nation.
Today, following the path shown by our esteemed Atatürk, we remain firmly committed to the founding principles, ideas, and ideals of our Republic, protecting its fundamental values, enhancing its achievements, and striving to bring our country to the modern level it deserves.
On this occasion, I commemorate with gratitude and respect Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Commander-in-Chief of our War of Independence and the Founder of our Republic, all the heroes of our National Struggle, and our beloved martyrs and veterans, and I offer my love and respect.
